To know me at all is to know how many years I wrote out of painful places revealing every scar.
This is one of those lyrics. The song itself is not one of pain but of trusting God with the pain. My prayer was that if the Lord ever healed me (which thankfully He did 25 years ago), the resolve of this chorus would never weaken. Looking back, I am so thankful for artists such as 4HIM who were willing to go to real places with their music.
