This song was co-written with Mark Harris and Mark Willard. Sometimes being part of a song comes from just being available when the phone rings. By now many people are familiar with the name of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany Georgia. As an extension of their ministry they brought you movies such as Courageous, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof.

 

It’s been a few years back since I got a call from my good friend Mark Harris (4HIM). He was in the middle of writing a song for the upcoming worship project at Sherwood with their worship leader Mark Willard. He asked if I would be open to helping them finish the song. He sent me a rough demo of the melody, I chased some ideas lyrically and sent it back, uncertain if they would like it or not, I was blown away when I heard the final cut. In addition to the Sherwood recording, in 2014, the song was used in conjunction with the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.
